New Jersey State Troopers Jacob Sherry and Steven Hodge rescued a dog and a toddler from the backseat of a hot car when the little boy's grandmother accidentally locked the two of them inside on Monday. She put him in his car seat, put the dog in the back, shut the door, went to open HER door, then realized her car keys were sitting on the backseat and she was locked out.

Troopers Sherry and Hodge responded to her 911 call, and when they arrived, they got her permission to break the window of her car so they could free the boy and dog. Fortunately, not much time had passed, so both the toddler and the pup are doing fine.
