Barnes and Noble is doing something fun over the summer to encourage kids to read. They have a summer reading program that will give children a free book when they read eight other books during their months off.

It’s super simple to enter. Just go to the Barnes and Noble website, and they have a reading journal you can download and print off. Your kiddo reads the books and writes down the title of each book, who wrote it, and what their favorite part of the book was. A parent signs off on the journal, you take it to the store anytime between May 16 and September 5th, and they’ll let your child choose an age appropriate book from their list.

This is available for kids in grades 1 - 6.
