The most important part of Valentine’s Day is showing the one you love just how much you love them! To me, personally, it’s always meant more that my significant other showed me that he appreciates me, values me and really knows who I am than how much he spent on a stuffed bear with chocolates.

That being said, chocolate is delicious. But you don’t have to break the bank to appreciate your love! Here are a few *last minute* ideas for celebrating!

Free Things:

  • Make a list of all the random things you love and appreciate about them
  • Watch the sunset in a place that means something to you
  • Volunteer together
  • Watch your favorite movies
  • Cook your favorite dessert together
  • Visit a museum
  • Complete a DIY project together
  • Write a poem about them and frame it
  • Watch your wedding video and reenact your first dance
  • Make a Spotify playlist of songs that remind you of them
  • Don’t be too competitive at game night

Cheap Things:
