My child, don’t be afraid. I’m here.

I know how hard it is to feel sometimes.

At this moment, I know how difficult it is to let yourself feel. But don’t hold back.

Don’t protect yourself from feeling. Your emotions may go this way or they may go that way, but this is a gift from me: the way your heart is impacted, the way it swings from high to low, but I’m the constant one and I will keep you still.

There are some things you have to face now. And I know you want to bury your head and I will let you do that. I’ll let you bury your head right here in my chest. But know when you lift your head, I will be there to help you rise. And you will rise.

You may feel shaken and shattered and shook up right now, but your feet will find firm footing. You will square your shoulders, you will take one step forward and then another. And you will find that you know your way and that I am with you through all of it.

There is much ahead and the path may not seem clear, but I will be there to help you. When you stumble, I will be there to help you stand again. When you’re scared, I will firm your trembling lip. I will navigate you through the storms of emotions. I will quiet your quivering heart.

You, my child, you are fierce and gentle. You are beautiful. You are strong. You’re chosen. You’re delighted in. You are everything I made you to be. You can face this because I’m going to be with you. I took everything, everything that would be able to keep you down. I have taken everything that would make you feel small or unsure or hesitant. You can, when you’re ready, you can go forward to the places I will lead you and you will know who you are and you will know who I AM and that you are mine.
