Lenape Valley Regional High School in Stanhope, NJ was the site of a possible tornado late last night. About 100 people, who were at the school for a track team banquet, huddled in the gym to wait out the storm until they were given an all-clear to leave. Two people suffered minor injuries when an object — possibly a tree branch — crashed through a parked car near Lenape Valley Regional High School in Stanhope, NJ.com reported.
The school was ordered shut on Wednesday as first responders in the area will work to clear “significant” damage caused by the storm.
Still-- given the number of homes in the path of the storm, we as a community have so much to be thankful for!
