You may be a little tired over all the snow we’ve been getting this winter but let me challenge you for a moment. A STAR 99.1 listener called in the other day and said, “A snowstorm is God’s way of slowing us down.” Isn’t that so true? We need to slow down when we’re driving in the snow. When we walk through it, we take smaller steps (sometimes even waddling like a penguin). What’s the rush in life? When you rush on a snowy street, what could happen? You could lose control. How many times have you rushed through something, maybe at work, only to have to do it again because you messed something up? So, take this little snowy lesson from God: take your time.
The next time you feel a grumble coming on because of the weather, just remember: “A snowstorm is God’s way of slowing us down.”
Psalm 27:14 Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.
"Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD."
