Anival is homeless and he lives on the streets of Las Vegas. Recently, he was walking by a house, and he saw smoke and heard a little girl yelling from the inside. It was a 3-year-old girl and her ten-month-old brother. Their grandfather was babysitting them and he forgot something that was cooking on the stove. Once the fire started, he couldn’t get through the flames to the kids, so they were on their own in the front of the house.
When Anival heard the yelling, he knew he had to do something. He jumped the fence, tore open the deadlocked screen door, and pulled the children out of the house. Some neighbors were able to get the grandfather out of the back window, too, so everyone made it out of the house safe and sound.
ONLY ON @News3LV: This homeless man ran into a burning apartment to save two small children. Although @LasVegasFD arrived on scene quickly, this man is the true hero! Hear my interview with him at 3,5 and 6. pic.twitter.com/NYrgTMtFQq— Kelsey Thomas (@KelseyNews3LV) December 1, 2017
