A poor impala fell into some mud at the Zimbabwe National Park and the more that it tried to escape, the deeper it sank. After a while, it was up to its neck in the mud and things were looking pretty grim.
That’s when a guy spotted her struggling. The man tied a safety rope to his waist and gave the other end to his friends, then he plunged into the waist-deep mud, grabbed the impala, and his friends pulled the two of them to safety.
The poor thing was so winded from her struggle that she couldn’t even move. They got some bottled water and poured it into her mouth to rehydrate her, and once she’d caught her breath and gotten some fight back in her, she ran off to rejoin her pack.
