Free three (3) hour training on what human trafficking is, how to recognize it and how to respond to it.

CAN, a national recognized anti-trafficking organization, the Ocean County Prosecutors office and a local survivor of trafficking will be speaking at this event to inform the public of what trafficking is, how to recognize it and how to respond. Who should attend? These events are appropriate for middle school ages and up. Human trafficking can happen in any community. What should attendees expect? Registration is free and live at Seating is limited, so attendees are encouraged to reserve their seat soon. Check-in begins at 8:30am with light refreshments. Attendees will learn what human trafficking and modern-day slavery looks like in their community. They will hear survivor stories and be given tools and action steps they can take to make an ongoing difference in their communities.
